John Lauderdale serves as Citi’s CISO cybersecurity lead based in Hong Kong, with more than twenty-five years of experience across consulting, banking, and insurance. Previously, he held roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays Capital, Prudential, Temasek, and PwC in Hong Kong and Singapore, focusing on cybersecurity through first-line CISO, second-line Tech Risk, and third-line Internal Audit positions, while excelling in risk management and safeguarding business. He has held CISSP, CISA and ISO27001 designations.  As part of a comprehensive cyber risk management framework, John has helped companies to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber risks.  John’s professional interests include Artificial Intelligence and Governance Risk and Compliance.
